Ticket Terms (Terms of Sale)

  1. Scope and Contracting Party
  2. These Ticket Terms govern the purchase of digital event tickets via Dionysos Tickets. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the contract for ticket purchase is concluded between you and the respective event organizer. Dionysos may act as ticketing service provider on behalf of organizers.
  3. Essential Characteristics of Tickets
  4. Each ticket is valid only for the specified event, date, time, location and ticket category as displayed during checkout.
  5. Prices and Taxes
  6. All prices shown are final prices and include VAT. Any additional fees (e.g., service fees) will be displayed transparently before purchase.
  7. Right of Withdrawal
  8. There is no statutory right of withdrawal for contracts for the provision of services related to leisure activities with a specific date or period (Section 312g(2)(9) German Civil Code – BGB). Purchased tickets are therefore non-cancellable and non-refundable, except as expressly stated below.
  9. Event Cancellation or Postponement
  10. In case of cancellation, postponement or substantial change of the event, refund or rebooking is governed by the organizer’s policy and applicable law. Where Dionysos processes refunds on behalf of organizers, refunds will be made to the original payment method.
  11. Delivery of Digital Tickets
  12. Tickets are delivered digitally (e.g., QR code) and made available in your account and/or by email after successful payment.
  13. Transferability and Personalization
  14. Tickets may be personalized and non-transferable unless the organizer explicitly allows name change or transfer. Misuse or resale above face value may lead to invalidation.
  15. Admission and Conduct
  16. Admission is subject to the organizer’s house rules. You must present a valid ticket (and where required, identification). Late admission or denied entry due to misconduct does not entitle you to a refund.
  17. Payment, Invoicing and Fraud Prevention
  18. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe). Invoices will be provided electronically. We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of suspected fraud or payment issues.
  19. Contract Language and Storage
  20. The contract language is English. The order details are displayed during checkout and sent via email. We do not store the contract text for your direct access after purchase; please save the order confirmation.
  21. Customer Service
  22. Liability
  23. Statutory liability applies. Dionysos is not liable for the proper execution of events organized by third parties; the organizer is responsible for the event.
  24. Final Provisions
  25. These Ticket Terms are governed by German law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.
